The Delusional World of the Dati Leumi

Here's how insane are the Dati Leumi/"Religious" Zionists. The Israeli police have recommended indictment of Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu for bribery and misuse of office to gain favorable political coverage in the press. He is even accused of offering the attorney general position to a retired judge if she'd drop the indictment that has already been issued against the PMs wife after taking the position. That's significant corruption and several of his aides have signed agreements to testify against him. There are four cases that the police very carefully prepared for many months. It's big news that reminds one of Watergate. It is interesting how many of the charges involve manipulating the press. The PM is a master of public relations and propaganda.

Watergate dominated the news for what felt like years, maybe it was many months, and we still talk about it. And this story is all over Haaretz. Even the JPost has broken down and started to cover it with , as of this morning, several articles. On YNET, it's the feature story with photos and all.

But Arutz Sheva, the RZ news website doesn't mention it. You wouldn't know about it. There's one small link deep down on the page that mentions the Dati  Leumi aide that will be testifying against the PM, but much of the article gives his praises of the PM, that he's an unparalleled leader, a genius who protects us, blah, blah, blah.

There's an editorial on the page that complains about Netanyahu's giving Hebron to Abbas, saying that's what makes him untrustworthy but all this corruption stuff is just a witch hunt by the lefties who have always hated him. The editorial is written by an American DL, one from New Jersey, the worst kind of DL, like Meir Kahane. He starts off his editorial with the word "I," saying "I've never been a fan." That is common with these people. You'll see the same in Harry Maryles' Haemtza blog of Zionist ideology and Charedi-hatred, a first person pronoun density, which according to Sam Vaknin, the Israeli expert on narcissism, is a sign of narcissism.

Fantasy land? Thought police? Do these people live in reality? They think they do. They think that the entire planet earth lives in fantasy and they are the only ones who live in reality, the reality being that Jews must return to the land and that all Arabs -- even the three year olds -- are all vicious Jew-hating killers and we must be extremely violent with them, or more accurately, we must train our youth to be extremely violent with them. That's their reality. The entire universe boils down to those postulates. It doesn't jive with the gadolim. It doesn't jive with political facts, one of which is that on average there have been 19.5 acts of terrorism a year since 1948, involving at most one hundredth of one percent of the Palestinians. It doesn't jive with the world community, you know, those Jew hating goyim who keep asking what we plan to do with the 4 million non-citizen Palestinians who have been living under military rule for 70 years. From where do the DL get their reality?

Here's my theory about the Dati Leumi. Their leaders are a collection of very selfish and disturbed people with huge egos and violent tendencies. The philosophy they have developed matches their personality disorder.
And the PM. He's quite similar so they don't see anything wrong there. And otherwise, he helps their cause. So what if he is corrupt? He wages war and they like that. What does corruption matter when you aren't following the Torah anyway? That the Dati Leumi aren't bothered by the PM's corruption tells you what they really think about the Torah and its silly rules about honesty, truth, and justice. To them, the Torah is land acquisition and war. This is a crazy, fascistic philosophy that they got from the heretic Jabotinsky.

To keep something like that going, you have to control the air waves, you have to repress thought. You have to keep pounding into peoples' heads. You can't let anything that conflicts with that interfere. Not covering this story is worse than covering it with bias. To pretend it isn't happening is a denial of reality. And that is Religious Zionism. Note the word order. It isn't Zionistic religion. It's religious Zionism. The core of it is secular Zionism or obsession with land and state. The adjective religion has little to do with Torah, it just means that they are religious about it in the generic sense, meaning devout about land and state. It's a religion but it's not the Jewish religion, not the one that says the seal of the Lord is truth and “He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you Except to be just, and to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God.” (Michah 6:8).

Israel pays students to post favorable comments online.

https://www.facebook.com/FromDarknessToLightTRUTH/videos/760705497393111/ There's a few ways of spotting the paid comment makers. One is they generally go for ad homenum attacks. This one is an antisemite, that one is an enemy of Israel, this one is not qualified to speak. I also find it amusing that Noam Chomsky is considered not qualified to speak because his PhD is in linguistics but Alan Dershowitz, a trial attorney, is even though Chomsky is just brimming with relevant facts and Dershowitz is so clearly a manipulator. They are not too educated these commenters.  Also, they also never respond to educated responses because they have no response and possibly they are instructed not to respond so as not to help promote educated thought on the topic.

Apikorsis in Eretz Yisroel

But today, we live in an atmosphere of  kefirah  [denial]. The whole world is  kefirah  today. And today, to get  emunah   peshutah  it is not easy at all. If a person says "I have  emunah   peshutah ," it means he is just dodging his responsibility, when you have to work to get  emunah , he's looking for a  teretz  [excuse] to get out of it, that's all.  Emunah   peshutah  today is very, very rare. If you're born into a very  frum  family, you get a certain degree. But even then, from the street it comes into the house, we don't realize. Once you come into America, or you come into England or Holland, or into Eretz Yisroel today, you should know, you're soaking in  apikorsus . Even the  fruma , under the skin, they have no  emunah  at all, a very thin veneer. You have to work hard, you must labor to get  emunah  today. It's very important to listen to these lessons, and ma...
