Israel plays the victim

The Gazans elected Hamas because they were less corrupt than Fatah. You think of Hamas as a terrorist organization. Netanyahu makes sure that you do. Yet 90% of what they do is social services and that’s how Gazans think of them. Post election surveys showed that the great majority of Gazans wanted Hamas to drop the talk of violence. The Gazans are poor and they mostly want to eat. Hamas seemed the better way to get basic services.   All we really know, aside from fears and name calling and paranoia, is that Israel pulled out of Gaza and immediately instituted a massive blockade. Per capita GDP in Gaza is $800 a year. That’s less than the Sudan. The missiles followed the blockade. They did not precede them. This is often the case with Israel. The IDF starts up with the Palestinians and then violence follows and then Israel plays the victim.   Study the history carefully and you’ll find that since ‘67 this has been the case more often than not.

Most Palestinians Are Descendants Of Jews

Most Palestinians Are Descendants Of Jews  1956 the PM David Ben-Gurion sent Moshe Dayan with a rabbi to start giving lessons in Judaism to Bedouin in the Negev. Get The Times of Israel's Daily Edition by email and never miss our top stories   FREE SIGN UP! Was Ben-Gurion suddenly struck with missionary zeal? He was just acting on knowledge that he and Yitzhak Ben-Tzvi, the president, has talked about for years. Most of what we now call “Palestinian Arabs” are descendants of Jews. Among the Bedouin that could reach 100 per cent. Ben-Gurion’s efforts didn’t go anywhere but give him credit for the thought. Tzvi Misinai, a software pioneer, who has devoted his life to assembling the facts on this issue, says that 90 per cent of Palestinian Arabs are descendants of Jews and 50 per cent know it. This  would explain some curious phenomena. When the Jordanians took over Judea and Samaria in 1948, they found no mosques there. King Hussein built the first one. The Crusaders when t...

exhortations to fight “idolaters” and “unbelievers”

"A careful and unbiased study of these and other verses, in their proper context, will reveal that the exhortations to fight “idolaters” and “unbelievers” are specific in nature and are not general injunctions for the murder of all those who refuse to accept Islam as their way of life." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kabir-helminski/does-the-quran-really-adv_b_722114.html

yeah 19 nutjobs hijacked 4 planes on one day from major airports in the us and hit 75% of their targets even though they couldn't fly, one did a 270 degree turn in a small space and hit with a jumbo jet on ground level the most heavily defended building in the most heavily defended city on earth and happened to hit the part of the building where 400 accountants were trying to figure out where 2.7 trillion dollars had disappeared to, killing all but one of them. why would these 19 nutjobs care about 2.7 trillion dollars of us money?

To understand Israel

To understand Israel you have to look at religion as well as politics. The Talmud tells us that God gave Torah to the Jews to tame them. "A Tanna taught in the name of R. Meir: Why was the Torah given to Israel? Because they are impetuous." (Talmud - Mas. Beitzah 25b) The Medieval commentator Rashi explains that the Torah will channel their energies. The Talmud says also, "The laws of these are like fire, for had not the Law been given to Israel no nation or tongue could withstand them. And this is what R. Simeon b. Lakish said: There are three distinguished in strength [fierce]: Israel among the nations, the dog among animals, [and] the cock among birds." The Jews are a powerful people. I'm not talking about the State of Israel but Jewish people in general. They are smart, strong, bold, wily. There's a reason why they have won 22% of Nobel prizes even though they are less than two tenths of a percent of world population. There's a reason they stayed in ...

Talmud - Mas. Beitzah 25b

A Tanna taught in the name of R. Meir: Why was the Torah given to Israel? Because they are impetuous.13 The School of R. Ishmael taught: ‘At His right hand was a fiery law unto them’;14 the Holy One, blessed be He, said: These are worthy to be given the fiery law. Some say: The laws of these are like fire, for had not the Law been given to Israel no nation or tongue could withstand them. And this is what R. Simeon b. Lakish said: There are three distinguished in strength [fierce]: Israel among the nations,15 the dog among animals, [and] the cock among birds. Some say: Also the goat among small cattle. And some say: Also the caper-bush16 among shrubs. (13) The Law was to discipline them. (14) Deut. XXXIII, 2. (15) But the Law tempers their strength. (16) Because of its rapid growing, for as soon as it is plucked it grows again. V. Shab. 30b.

Train Farce Shows Israeli Public Still Putting Soldiers on Pedestal

Some steak joints here used to offer uniformed soldiers half-price meals. Those were the glory days of the Israel Defense Forces. Generals, by the way, ate for free back then. Plenty of cows have been slaughtered since, there are fewer steak joints and fewer discounts for soldiers. That’s good. There are quite a few groups in Israeli society more deserving of a discount. But if you thought IDF worship had disappeared — as it should have — think again. The doomsday weapon in the Shabbat-work rail farce is the transportation of soldiers. That was almost the only reason we heard against the scandalous halting of the train service just prior to and post-Shabbat: how will soldiers get to their bases? Not the elderly, not the poor, not laborers and not the sick. Soldiers are practically the only people anybody cares about around here. Journalist Dan Margalit announced that he will be at the train station this morning, ready to drive soldiers in his Honda. How moving. No one will transport th...

That's their military wing. And they are horrible. So is the Iranian regime. So is Saudi. So is Egypt. But those countries don't attack Israel because they don't want to risk their wealth. Let the Palestinians have their own little corrupt Arab country - like all of them - the rich will take everything and use their military to keep the people in line. They don't want to lose their palaces. Israel's mistake is that despite all the posturing we are a bunch of Jewish pussies. I say this as a Jewish pussy. We act like we are so tough but we are wimps and can't handle anybody calling us names or disliking us. So we go overboard with our American weapons and are unwilling to live with the risks of life. We crush the Pals too much and they come back and kill us. We lose people every year due to our paranoia.
