I was never much of a zionist.

I was never much of a zionist. It seemed to me that we were kicked out of the land for a reason and until we fixed oursleves we didn't have a right to go back.

But I have been surrounded for decades by zionists who assured me that the state was the beginning of redemption, that the government despite its flaws has moved on from its hostility to religion, that a majority of Israelis were practicing some aspects of the Torah,  that Israelis, despite a rough exterior, had good hearts, that the massive military orientation of the state was necessary for survival, that the military was accommodating to religious people and offered an opportunity to do special mitzvahs to serve the nation, that the country showed Jewish values.

I never bought into these claims with any enthusiasm but living in New York it didn't seem to matter much either way. I did wonder about the outrage with which some local rabbanim in my town responded to the new draft law. To them the world was  ending. Religious zionist rabbis in my town claimed that the charedim only needed to do their fair share and the military would accommodate charedi youth. That counter claim seemed reasonable.

Living in this country for six months I have come to believe the that the religious zionist rabbis are either fools or liars, that none of what they said is true. I feel a little bad saying this but this country is a cesspool. The people are horrific, their middos the worst I have ever experienced in a society. The government is corrupt on every level in every way. The military is out of control and lives for its own relishing of power. It takes Jewish youth and brain washes them completely to become robot killers. They are all macho and might and the entire culture takes its queues from them.

19th century rabbanim feared that zionism offered a way for Jews to be Jewish without Torah. And they were completely prescient in their fear. But something worse has happened. This country has invented a new form of Jew. It's not just a Jew without Torah. It's a new form of being. What do I mean?

The Talmud tells us that Jews are identified by compassion, modesty, and humility. And this is exactly what Israelis are not. They are the most arrogant, immodest, and hard hearted people I have ever seen and I have been to 30 countries. Go anywhere in the world and you won't find anything like a secular Israeli. It's like a creature from a lab.

How did this happen? The Talmud tells us that if not for Torah the Jews would destroy the world because they are bold. So when Jews leave the Torah, normally, they become goyim. This is a tragedy for them, but even as goyim they have some rules to abide by. Gentile nations have rules and the lost Jews follow them. So the Jew goes from the authority of Torah to that of the gentiles. It's tragic but not as tragic as this.

In Israel no such thing exists. There is no authority, no moral code. The early zionists tossed aside Torah, replaced it with nothing, and left the powerful Jewish soul with no restraints. And the result of that 4 generations later is the secular Israeli, who is a freak of nature, a beast that could not exist in a gentile nation. Maybe a few could exist but not millions of them. Even the nicer ones here, the ones with better natural middos become monstrous in seconds when anything doesn't go their way. The only way I can even think of them as Jews is to unravel all the sickness and somehow interpolate back to what must have once been a Jew.

Zionism created this. And of course that's only one part of zionism. 10s of thousands of dead Jews that post-holocaust would have lived in the Western world or Arab countries - that's another product of zionism. It has also caused the biggest chillul Hashem in our history. The world hates us as never before. Esav hates Yaakov yes, but we are not supposed to kindle the flames. Zionism poured gas on the flames. I can't get over the rage I encounter worldwide for being a Jew or worse for living in Israel. I don't believe that this is just due to antisemitism, as I didn't experience it 20 or even 10 years ago. It's all about Israel and its politics, but also about the Israeli attitude. We use the antisemitism claim as an excuse to redirect any criticism that Hashem seems to want us to hear. It's like zionists took the concept of antisemitism and use it for their own wicked purposes, not understanding its root causes which is our sins.

In my view, Zionism is the greatest challenge to the Jewish people since idol worship. It's demonic. It has stolen a language, a history, an identity and claimed it as its own. The secular right wingers will tell you that the term Palestinians is made up, that 100 years ago there was no such people. What's the Palestinian language they'll say. Well it's the same with the Israeli people. It's also a made up people. Where's the Israeli language? They stole Hebrew and polluted it. There's no language called Israeli. Where's the Israeli literature of the 19th century, 18th century, 17 century. There is none. The people didn't exist. There are no Israelis in the history books, just modern day terrorists who founded the state. It's the same as with the Palestinians. This whole country is a lie and a fantasy.

Israel pays students to post favorable comments online.

https://www.facebook.com/FromDarknessToLightTRUTH/videos/760705497393111/ There's a few ways of spotting the paid comment makers. One is they generally go for ad homenum attacks. This one is an antisemite, that one is an enemy of Israel, this one is not qualified to speak. I also find it amusing that Noam Chomsky is considered not qualified to speak because his PhD is in linguistics but Alan Dershowitz, a trial attorney, is even though Chomsky is just brimming with relevant facts and Dershowitz is so clearly a manipulator. They are not too educated these commenters.  Also, they also never respond to educated responses because they have no response and possibly they are instructed not to respond so as not to help promote educated thought on the topic.

Apikorsis in Eretz Yisroel

But today, we live in an atmosphere of  kefirah  [denial]. The whole world is  kefirah  today. And today, to get  emunah   peshutah  it is not easy at all. If a person says "I have  emunah   peshutah ," it means he is just dodging his responsibility, when you have to work to get  emunah , he's looking for a  teretz  [excuse] to get out of it, that's all.  Emunah   peshutah  today is very, very rare. If you're born into a very  frum  family, you get a certain degree. But even then, from the street it comes into the house, we don't realize. Once you come into America, or you come into England or Holland, or into Eretz Yisroel today, you should know, you're soaking in  apikorsus . Even the  fruma , under the skin, they have no  emunah  at all, a very thin veneer. You have to work hard, you must labor to get  emunah  today. It's very important to listen to these lessons, and ma...
