"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood.
"But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy.
"All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
--Herman Goering at the Nuremberg Trials
Is this not what Israel does? Israel which has not been attacked by an army in 40 years but nevertheless drags every young man and woman into their brainwash camp called the military, so that the train is filled half with solders every day. Israel, which contrary to the mantra in the Jewish world, has not made reasonable offers for a Pales. state and always keeps the deal just a bit too ridiculous to accept (no Pales. military, Israeli military bases in the Pales. state, no law of return even as Israel has one, Israel keeping 10% and largely the best 10% of the Pales. land). But anybody who questions Israeli politics is a traitor of course.
